The Cologne City Council has approved participation in the State program for municipal integration management and thus agreed to the establishment of cross-jurisdictional, individual case management.

In Cologne, operational case management as defined by the state funding program "Municipal Integration Management NRW" is carried out exclusively by independent welfare organizations. The individual case-related advice within the framework of case management is aimed at the following target groups in Cologne:

• Cologne residents with an international family history who are not primarily supported by the Jobcenter in an integrative manner

 

and specialized advisory services for the following target groups:

 

• Cologne residents with an international family history and disabilities
• Cologne residents with an international family history from the "LGBTI community"

 

It is expressly pointed out that people with tolerated status and residence permits are also addressed.

Participation in case management is voluntary, free of charge and confidential.
